Responsibilities
Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment across a distributed development organization
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to provision and manage cloud environments
Build and maintain internal tools and services written in Java, Groovy, Python, and Shell
Support engineering workflows and release automation
Manage and enhance build systems leveraging Gradle and Maven to support large-scale Java-based applications
Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker, ensuring consistency across development, staging, and production environments
Deploy and manage services in Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, supporting scalability and high availability across environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment workflows, monitor systems, and respond to incidents
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes
Qualification
Required
B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
5+ years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience in production environments
Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline design
Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure automation in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Hands-on experience with Java, Groovy, Python, Shell scripting, and configuration of Gradle/Maven build systems
Deep understanding of Docker containerization and lifecycle management
Passion for clean, maintainable code, with a strong emphasis on automation and developer enablement
Preferred
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools is a plus
Familiarity with major cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
