Responsibilities

Lead development and delivery of commercial aviation and flight management software platforms
Drive system architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability
Guide engineering teams across full SDLC (design, development, testing, deployment)
Collaborate with airline stakeholders on flight planning, dispatch, crew operations, safety, and regulatory compliance
Ensure systems align with FAA / global aviation standards
Translate airline operational requirements into scalable software solutions
Manage and mentor engineering, product, and technical teams
Work with business leaders, customers, and vendors to define roadmap and priorities
Act as a bridge between technical teams and airline business users
Improve operational efficiency through system enhancements and automation
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across commercial airline platforms
Oversee documentation, support models, and production stability

Required

10–15+ years experience in commercial aviation software / airline systems

Experience working directly with airlines, aviation operations teams, or aviation software vendors
