Fusion Transport is a rapidly growing logistics company with over 40 years of industry experience. They are seeking an experienced Carrier Sales Representative to manage freight operations, develop relationships with carriers, and ensure efficient logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

Perform freight services according to company and government regulations

Create, coordinate, and manage pick-up and delivery schedules, coordinating with shippers, carriers, dispatchers, and customers

Monitor all routes and schedule backhauls with same trucks to utilize max. cost of the daily route

Track and report shipment status of loads

Properly vet carriers to securely broker freight

Coordinate logistics for projects coming from multiple customer sites and vendors

Develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple carriers

Maintain accurate records of all activity, ensuring freight paperwork is complete and approved prior to transportation

Resolve freight discrepancies and keep relevant parties apprised

Respond to customer concerns and queries in a timely, professional manner

Qualification

Freight brokerage experienceTMS system proficiencyCarrier vettingLogistics operationsCustomer service skills

Required

Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a freight and transportation logistics and operations-oriented position (brokerage, dispatch, etc.) assigning loads and booking trucks on load boards

Experience with using Mercury Gate, DAT, Carrier411 or any other TMS system

High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
