People Operations Specialist
North Bridge Staffing Group is a global investment management firm seeking an experienced People Operations Specialist to join its Human Capital team in New York. This newly created role focuses on enhancing core People Operations processes while driving reporting, automation, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Own and execute core People Operations processes, including onboarding, transfers, terminations, background checks, and related lifecycle events
Identify inefficiencies in highly manual workflows and design scalable, efficient process improvements
Support reporting and analytics needs across People Operations
Leverage Python and/or SQL to automate processes, manipulate data, and improve operational efficiency
Partner closely with colleagues across the Human Capital organization
Take on people management responsibilities in the future (initially 1–2 direct reports, with potential to grow)
Qualification
Required
7–10 years of relevant People Operations / HR experience
Strong HR fundamentals with an interest in process improvement and automation
Excellent communication, collaboration, and execution skills
Detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
Stable work history with demonstrated progression
Preferred
Python and/or SQL fluency strongly preferred; candidates with strong aptitude and willingness to upskill will be considered
Prior people management experience preferred, though not required
Experience in a financial services or investment management firm
Background in Big Tech or other highly scaled environments
Exposure to HR reporting, analytics, or systems-driven initiatives
