Responsibilities

Timely processing of Accounts Payable
Coordinate and expedite timely billings to the stores
Accounts Receivable all member subsidiaries
A/R Daily reconciliation and weekly tie-out schedule for Corporate A/R Dept
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly billing, and set up sales tax liability on various invoices
Monitor Tech’s mailbox (review all invoices, handle all inquiries and problems)
Communication and perform the necessary follow up with vendors, purchasing department and appropriate divisional associates to resolve and expedite vendor payments
Handle store inquiries and problems
Provide Wakefern Statement for assigned Shoprite Beverage stores
Working with Real Estate department on payments and billback all miscellaneous charges for Rents & Loans programs
Issue weekly credits on 2% Interest Subsidy program to stores
Handle all inquiries and issues on Rent & Loans programs
Prepare and process the appropriate journal entries for Period End, Mid-Year and Year End
Prepare Period End, Mid-Year and Year End for assigned schedules
May be assigned additional responsibilities as necessary

Required

Four-year college degree with concentration in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance
Knowledge of basic accounting theory, financial systems, computerized systems, and control procedures
Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills (ability to maintain a high level of flexibility and adaptability)
Strong systems and personal computer skills (i.e. Microsoft office -Excel)
Excellent written and oral communications, customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills
Professional attitude and excellent team player
Availability to work a varied, flexible schedule to meet business demands
Ability to monitor computer screens for long periods of time
Ability to work a hybrid schedule as established by the division (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)
