InternKCH Transportation is seeking a Carrier Compliance Intern to join their Carrier Compliance Team in Chattanooga, TN. This internship offers hands-on experience in compliance, risk assessment, and transportation operations, allowing you to develop analytical skills and work cross-functionally to ensure carrier partners meet company standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Assist with the onboarding of new carriers by reviewing submitted documentation and verifying compliance with requirements
Perform preliminary audits on carrier profiles to identify potential compliance issues and escalate as necessary
Support the review and processing of override requests based on risk criteria and business justification
Maintain accurate and up-to-date carrier records in the TMS
Collaborate with Operations and Risk Management teams to resolve compliance-related issues in a timely manner
Track and report on compliance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Risk Management, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Investigative and problem-solving mindset
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
Dependability and initiative
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Coachability and eagerness to learn
Comfortable working in a structured, detail-oriented environment
Preferred
Prior office experience or familiarity with compliance, auditing, or logistics systems is a plus
