Responsibilities

Designing and governing annual and mid-year sales compensation plans aligned to revenue growth, margin protection, retention, and budget discipline
Translating revenue strategy into quotas, payout curves, accelerators, decelerators, thresholds, and crediting rules
Modeling plan costs, payout scenarios, and revenue impact across multiple performance outcomes
Owning end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual commission cycles, including calculations, audits, and payout validation
Serving as the central authority for commission plan interpretation, dispute resolution, and edge-case decisioning
Owning CaptivateIQ administration and Salesforce-sourced commission data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, auditability, and scalability

Qualification

Required

3-5 years of experience in Sales Compensation, Revenue Operations, Finance Operations, or Commission Management
Hands-on experience with commission systems such as CaptivateIQ (or comparable platforms like Xactly, Spiff, or Varicent)
Strong Salesforce reporting, data modeling, and commission logic experience
Advanced Excel modeling and financial analysis skills
Experience supporting SaaS or subscription-based revenue models
The ability to analyze trends at the rep and IC level and apply sound economic judgment to recommend fair, defensible outcomes
A strong professional presence and 'persona' that can handle objections, explain tradeoffs, and build confidence with stakeholders
