Collins Aerospace, a leader in aerospace and defense solutions, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk I to join their Interiors team in Jamestown, ND. The role involves preparing items for shipping, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare items for shipping, noting item contents, delivery methods, and other logistical details using proper procedures and materials

Receives, checks, stores, issues and ships a variety of items and maintains inventory control

Use assistance and/or powered mechanical means (including forklifts) to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material

Proficiently uses computer hardware/software

Maintain contact with personnel from various customers and support areas to ensure accuracy of material/process

Cycle count applicable inventory per the cycle count process requirements

Use assorted measuring and weight recording devices

Keep equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean

Able to work independently and within a team

Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask

Must adhere to all EH&S regulations and policies as well as attend required training courses related to EH&S

Follow the EH&S roles and responsibilities in accordance with the Cargo Policy MP 5322

Typically requires a HS diploma, In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required
