Responsibilities
Analyze existing distribution processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and continuous improvement inside and outside the 4-walls
Develop and implement strategies including TPM with Lead, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
Utilize data analysis to assess current processes, measure performance, and identify areas for optimization. Tracking and reporting on the process of improvement projects, ensuring desired results are achieved
Facilitating workshops, training sessions, and communication to ensure smooth implementation of changes and adoption of new processes
Involving employees in the improvement process through training and feedback mechanisms, fostering a culture of continuous learning and ownership
Supervise and coach direct reports on the performance of their duties, complete performance reviews and provide coaching, development, and succession planning at the site level
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement for a big box retailer with a focus on distribution
Vast experience with labor standards
Passion for innovation
Ability to build, own, and drive change
Experience with six sigma, DMAIC and DMADV, Lean, Kaizen, and statistical process control
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field of study
75% travel
Preferred
Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System
Master's degree
