Mid LevelNess Digital Engineering is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure product quality. The role involves designing and implementing automated test frameworks, maintaining test plans, and analyzing test results.

Responsibilities
Design and Implement automated test frameworks using Java and Cucumber with a focus on reusability and modular steps definitions
Create, maintain and execute automation test plans
Analyze and communicate test results and bugs
Develop, enhance and extend automation frameworks
Define Test strategies and conduct requirements analysis for testability
Participate in reviewing test procedures and recommend improvements
Qualification
Required
Proficient with Java and object oriented concepts
Experience with automation frameworks ( Cucumber, Selenium, TestNg)
Proficiency in testing Apache Kafka-producing/consuming events, validating messages, schemas and stream processing logic
Experience with Kubernetes-understanding of K8s deployments, validating services with containers
Previous experience with Financial services, Derivatives clearing/Risk management
Excellent Communication skills
