Responsibilities

Manage the full life cycle of telecom operations, communications, and IT network projects, driving deliverables and ensuring high quality results

Monitor and report on project schedules, budgets, and expenditures to meet time-sensitive financial targets

Host reoccurring project meetings, drive action items across various departments, and provide guidance to budget forecasting and P6 scheduling teams

Establish strong communication channels with clients, internal leadership, external partners, and regulatory agencies

Determine resource allocation and collaborate with procurement to evaluate and select engineering and construction contractors

Proactively identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and utility codes

Learn the client’s standardized process that outlines tiered project progression from inception through execution while incorporating company SOPs

Utilize KPIs to monitor project performance and adjust approach as necessary to meet objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Previous experience in project management, telecom/IT engineering, or a related role

10-15 years of experience with utilities, electrical system design, installation, and/or maintenance projects

Must be a curious and active listener, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative with a continuous learning mindset
