Senior Integration & Test Engineer

Latitude AI develops automated driving technologies, including L3, for Ford vehicles at scale. As a Senior Integration & Test Engineer, you will conduct hands-on testing with autonomous vehicles, develop tests based on system requirements, and ensure the seamless interoperability of software, hardware, and sensor systems within the automated driving stack.

Responsibilities

Conduct hands-on testing with autonomous vehicles base out of our facilities in Long Beach, CA
Work in Release Candidate and Development Testing areas
Test autonomy developers pull requests on vehicles on public road
Leverage system requirements to develop Release Candidate tests and Structured Tests as needed for Development Testing
Support Vehicle Behavior requirements and simulation functional set development
Work with automated ADAS test equipment to execute choreographed scenarios
Analyze test results, and create detailed written reports, provide feedback to developers to improve software
Conduct integration testing to ensure the seamless interoperability of software, hardware, and sensor systems within the automated driving stack

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or PhD)
Ability to work onsite in Long Beach, CA
A strong understanding of the autonomous vehicle software stack
Solid problem solving skills
Competency understanding performance requirements for autonomous systems
Ability to write test documentation for test cases and engineering processes

Preferred

Experience working with ADAS automation testing products
Proficiency in writing Python
Experience using dashboarding software such as Looker or Superset
