Responsibilities
Retrieve and review monthly telecom invoices from client and carrier portals, identifying irregular billing patterns, missing documentation, or discrepancies and taking appropriate action within established guidelines
Accurately map invoice charges to the correct accounts, services, circuits, and locations, using sound judgment to resolve discrepancies and escalate higher-risk issues when needed
Maintain and update records within the proprietary telecom inventory system, ensuring invoice images, billing details, service data, and location information are complete, accurate, and properly classified
Support audit readiness and data integrity by documenting changes, flagging unresolved issues for analyst review, and following data quality standards while contributing ideas for process improvements
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma required
1–3 years of experience in data entry, accounts payable, billing, or telecom/IT inventory support
Comfortable navigating multiple web-based vendor portals and internal systems
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based tools
Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to work accurately with numbers and text while adhering to quality control standards and best practices
Ability to Commute: Cedar Rapids, IA 52401 (Required)
Preferred
AA degree or higher preferred
telecommunication industry: 1 year (Preferred)
