Electrical Controls Engineer 3
DENSO is a manufacturing company seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer 3 to work in a manufacturing environment. The role involves collecting and organizing machine and sensor data, developing applications for data collection and reporting, and assisting in the implementation of IoT systems.

Responsibilities
Experience collecting machine and senor date (i.e. through Ethernet/IP, etc.) to the middleware device to collect and process data
Program various PLC types (OMRON CJ, NX, NJ, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Keyence) to populate tags and data set to be collected from the machine
Install Linux to the gateway PC and configure to be placed on the company network
Program Ignition project (Python, Jython (Python 2.7) to collect data from various data sources and send to the server destination via API
Setup the PC to transfer files from source PC to the database via FTP
Proficient in parsing log files, ETL tools, and data modeling
Project schedule and output management for assigned projects with coordination with CoC and requesting departments to meet the needs. Requires flexibility to negotiate and recalibrate the schedule or outputs based on the requestor's situation. Must have the ability to lead multiple projects concurrently
Collaborate and effectively communicate across functions
May train or mentor less experienced engineers
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or other related engineering fields
5+ years of related experience collecting and reporting machine and sensor data
Experience with a variety of PLCs including OMRON, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Keyence
Experience with PTC Kepware, KepServer, SQL Server, machine monitoring and learning, Tableau
Experience with SCADA, DCS, or similar systems
Experience with different OS (Windows Server, Linux, etc.)
Experience with inductive automation's ignition products
