The General Ledger Staff Accountant will be responsible for various accounting duties, including general ledger journal entry, reconciliations, and assisting in divisional reporting communications.

Responsibilities

Performing and monitoring general ledger journal entry and reconciliation activities

Performing monthly reconciliations for domestic and foreign bank accounts and accounting subsystems

Processing accounting system updates to general ledger accounts and departments

Assisting in divisional reporting communications with company leadership and other departments

Communicating with other departments to resolve accounting issues and reconciling items identified in the reconciliation processes

Processing various month-end, quarter-end, and annual close activities including general ledger and accounting subsystem reporting and audit activities

Participating in development projects, planning, testing and implementation

Performing special projects, analysis and other administrative tasks as necessary

Required

Possess or are working towards a bachelor's degree in Accounting OR have relevant work experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

Work independently as well as in a team environment
