C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst

Chenega MIOS SBU is looking for a C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency’s Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). The role involves applying knowledge of DoD acquisition processes to develop policies, plans, and documentation for Missile Defense System acquisition and interacting with high-level DoD officials to ensure successful execution of strategies.

Responsibilities

Apply working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding
Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists
Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration
Use expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution
Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
Support and interact with high-level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office, and deliver products successfully in a fast-paced environment (on demand)
Develop reports, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholders
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience OR
Master's Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience
Secret clearance
Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines
Possesses experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements
Can work independently or lead cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the Performance Work Statement
Have experience in cost, schedule, and performance management for a space-based program and/or a DoD agency
