Responsibilities

You will lead the mechanical design process for our equipment
Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software
Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations
You will ensure delivery and adherence to budget
Collaborate with managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Collaborate with equipment assembly team and fabrication vendors

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering within the food processing equipment industry
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD)
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements

Preferred

Experience with FEA and other simulation tools
Experience with schematics, control system and automation principles
Knowledge of sanitary design principles for food processing equipment
Experience with project management tools and methodologies
