Regional Account Manager
Binks is a leading global manufacturer of products and systems for sprayed and dispensed materials. As a Regional Account Manager, you will be crucial in expanding market presence and driving revenue growth by collaborating with distributors and internal teams to implement strategic sales plans.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with distributors, internal sales teams, and the Regional Sales Manager to identify and target key end-user accounts. Develop and implement an annual sales plan with specific revenue targets for each distributor and product category
Design and execute strategies to increase territory revenue and achieve assigned sales targets
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with distributors and end-users, aiming to secure a larger share of distributor business and drive growth
Jointly develop and implement growth strategies with distributor partners. Plan and conduct Finishing Tune-Ups to identify areas for improvement and showcase Binks’ solutions
Maintain deep knowledge of all products to enhance sales effectiveness and offer value-added solutions
Train and develop distributor personnel to ensure competency in serving customers and promoting Binks’ products. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for users and distributors
Utilize market segment analysis and Time and Territory management principles to develop targeted strategies
Represent Binks at trade shows, engaging with attendees, explaining product features, and addressing inquiries
Develop, submit, and adhere to an annual travel and entertainment budget
Qualification
Required
Associates degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years in industrial sales, including successful management of distributor and end-user relationships
Valid drivers license
Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the designated territory
Mechanical knowledge of spray finishing equipment used across various industries
Understanding of paint and solvent properties, and experience with relevant test equipment
Proficiency with basic tools, office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and CRM systems
Strong mathematical skills for calculating discounts, margins, and ROI
Excellent presentation skills with experience in teaching or public speaking
Ability to read and interpret technical data, blueprints, and charts
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
