Responsibilities
Assist senior designers in conceptualizing and developing design schemes
Create mood boards, color palettes, and material selections in line with the client’s vision
Communicate with clients to gather design preferences, feedback, and project requirements
Help schedule meetings and follow up on design approvals or changes
Support the project management team in tracking project timelines and milestones
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for timely delivery of materials and furnishings
Assist in preparing design layouts, floor plans, CAD drawings, elevations, and 3D renderings
Ensure design documentation is updated and accurately reflects client preferences
Research and assist in sourcing materials, furniture, fabrics, lighting, and accessories within the project budget
Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
Accompany the design team on site visits to measure spaces, photograph areas, and gather design-related information
Assist in overseeing installations to ensure the design vision is properly executed
Organize and maintain the firm’s design library, including fabric samples, material swatches, and product catalogs
Track orders and manage inventory to ensure availability of materials for projects
Prepare presentations, design boards, and visual aids for client meetings
Help communicate design concepts, material selections, and project updates clearly
Organize project files and maintain project schedules
Coordinate meetings, prepare documents for client approvals, contracts, and invoices
Stay updated on current interior design trends, materials, and industry best practices
Contribute fresh ideas and creative solutions to enhance project outcomes
Assist in overseeing the installation process and ensure proper placement of furniture and decor
Provide support for final styling to ensure design elements are executed correctly
Conduct quality checks during and after installations to ensure design elements meet the highest standards and client expectations
Qualification
Required
2-3 Years of Interior Design Experience in Residential and Multi-Family Design
Graduation from accredited University
