Responsibilities
Monitoring and paying taxes on all active and REO loans
Ensuring that all collateral properties are properly insured
Initiating “Forced Place” insurance when needed
Processing and depositing payments (desk top deposits)
Must have the ability to read and understand all types of loan documents
New loan setup for purchased loans and originated loans
Knowledge of UCC filings
Sending and requesting original loan documents to Custodians
Preparing reconveyance/satisfaction documents
Excel is used to track payments, calculate payoff statements and reports for accounting
Interacting with borrowers in a professional but assertive manner
Handling documents, filing, mailing, etc
Working closely with the accounting team
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years' experience
Loan Servicing and Mortgage Servicing skills
Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills
Experience in managing and processing Loans
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and understand all types of loan documents
Knowledge of UCC filings
Preferred
Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
Additional education in finance or related field is beneficial
