New Grad, Entry LevelAdvanced Spade Company is building next-gen tools for underground utilities and is seeking an Operations Engineer to help streamline their operations. The role involves connecting various departments, managing invoicing and collections, coordinating projects, and supporting office operations to ensure efficiency and organization.

Responsibilities
Money plumbing: invoicing/collections, AP hygiene, Ramp/expenses, “nothing slips” follow-through
Operations admin: prevailing wage processing, COIs/insurance coordination, bonding/surety support, equipment financing paperwork
Services project coordination: job IDs, schedules, owners, status, closeouts (photos/notes/hours/travel) so we can actually learn and improve
Client onboarding + procurement: clean handoffs from “yes” → kickoff → delivery; maintain templates (SOWs, checklists, one-pagers)
People ops basics: make the first week not suck (accounts, gear, paperwork, intros); help build lightweight policies that match reality
Office/shop ops: supplies, shipping, vendors, leases/utilities/moves — make the physical world match the pace of the company
CRM + materials support: keep contacts/notes/next steps real; help assemble decks/one-pagers/flyers/stickers when needed
Qualification
Required
Had lots of highlighters in school
Frustrated by friends who don't handle simple chores or clean up after themselves
Lists are life: you turn chaos into checklists and checklists into systems
You finish what you start; you don't need a babysitter
Low-ego, high-ownership, calm when priorities change
Preferred
Top-notch “customer service voice” (externally required, internally preferred)
