Responsibilities
Support sourcing activities including RFQ/RFI preparation and analysis
Gather drawings and technical requirements for RFQs
Schedule technical reviews with suppliers and engineering as needed
Submit first article inspection requests and follow up until completion
Load supplier pricing in ERP system
Oversee supplier readiness and material ramp up plans
Follow up with suppliers for timely implementation
Work with other functional departments for cadence reporting
Qualification
Required
3-5 years in a supply chain function in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and processes
Experience with new supplier implementations for OEM
Ability to read Engineering drawings and work with drawing databases
Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams
Proficient in MS office products including Excel and PowerPoint
BS or BA in business, supply chain, or engineering
Preferred
Experience using JD Edwards Supply Chain Modules a plus
MS Access a plus
