Responsibilities
Collects patient data through interviews, tests, and observations to identify issues and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches or referrals
Manages a specialized caseload, conducts research and assessments, and prepares individualized studies for admission, placement, or discharge
Implements or arranges therapeutic interventions during crises, monitors treatment effectiveness, and recommends service modifications
Collaborates with legal and treatment agencies, other professionals, and paraprofessionals, referring clients to appropriate services
Participates in clinical reviews, policy development, and training sessions; may lead or supervise staff
May serve as a Campus Security Authority under the Clery Act and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Master's degree
at least 1 year of social work experience
a valid driver's license
Preferred
bilingual in Spanish
