Stratas Foods LLC is a leading supplier of fats and oils to various markets in North America. The Supply Chain Coordinator will provide cross-functional support to the Supply Chain Department by managing reporting, coordinating follow-up actions, and documenting policy updates.

Responsibilities

Maintain supply database for reporting and planning purposes

Evaluate Material Resource Planning report to direct Purchase Orders (PO) to appropriate suppliers

Maintain PO delivery information and communicate changes to internal stakeholders across multiple sites and/or categories

Maintain policy and procedure documentation

Assist Supply Chain team members in tracking down price and/or contract discrepancies

Assist with management for continuous improvement

Works with minimal supervision on a variety of complex tasks while adapting procedures as appropriate

Collaborate closely with onsite teams and participate in onsite meetings to drive departmental objectives

Other duties as assigned

Required

College degree preferred; some college with practical work experience would substitute

0 to 2 years' experience in commodity procurement or rail logistics

Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook; Power BI preferred

Ability to collect relevant data and logically draw valid conclusions supported with excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to read, analyze and interpret reports

Effective written and oral communication is a must, as this position liaises with operations, sales, and oil procurement along with oil suppliers

Must be team oriented and customer focused in order to handle the complexities and issues of the position

Must be able to process large amounts of data, be able to identify trends and errors; and process multiple detailed requests in a timely manner
