Responsibilities
Build and maintain clean, accurate books, catching errors before they hit reports
Deliver timely month-end close and clear financial reports for leadership
Manage cash flow, AR/AP, and ensure basic internal controls are effective
Partner with operations and sales teams to translate financial data into clear insights
Build simple, repeatable processes (checklists, SOPs, automations) for scaling
Oversee and mentor a small team, ensuring financial workflows are documented and robust
Qualification
Required
5-7+ years of professional accounting experience with 2-3+ years in a leadership or management role
Proven experience in multi-entity or multi-location accounting including the creation and review of financial statements
Specialized expertise in job costing, WIP reports, and gross profit tracking
High proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Strong leadership presence with the ability to communicate financial data clearly to non-accounting teams
Process-driven mindset with the ability to build and scale systems rather than just managing them
