Field Sales Executive
ASF is a leader in global logistics, committed to integrity and high standards in the freight forwarding market. They are seeking driven and competitive Field Sales Executives to build long-term relationships with importers, exporters, and US shippers, focusing on developing a book of business across various logistics services.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage a book of business across ocean import/export, air freight, truck brokerage, and customs brokerage services
Qualify, and close new business while expanding existing customer relationships
Partner closely with operations teams to ensure flawless execution and customer retention
Maintain an active sales pipeline with consistent weekly outreach and activity metrics
Understand client supply chains deeply to identify growth opportunities and deliver customized solutions
Provide accurate forecasting, activity reporting, and revenue projections
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings (virtual and in-person)
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC sales, 3PL, brokerage, or transportation services
Proven success in building and retaining a high-revenue book of business
Strong understanding of international logistics (Incoterms, carrier routings, pricing structures, customs clearance, air/ocean processes)
A competitive, persistent, and consultative sales approach
Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging with C-level supply chain decision-makers
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating seamlessly with remote operations teams
A growth mindset, urgency, and a desire to win
