Responsibilities
Serve as Tech Lead/Architect/Strategist for the migration of native mobile applications to a React Native environment
Lead and design best practices and migration approaches for large-scale enterprise mobile projects
Anticipate and address migration challenges, drawing on prior experience with similar transitions
Provide technical leadership to large development teams (80+ developers)
Develop, architect, and maintain high-performance, scalable cross-platform mobile app features using React Native and TypeScript
Bridge native modules, manage platform-specific configurations, and integrate third-party SDKs
Optimize mobile app performance, focusing on startup time, bundle size, memory management, and frame-rate stability
Implement UI, manage state, and handle platform-specific behaviors for intuitive mobile experiences
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers
Contribute to and maintain shared cross-platform design systems and mobile architecture
Lead the adoption of React Native in a brownfield (existing native app) context for both iOS and Android
Utilize Expo SDK, EAS workflows, and manage OTA delivery and automated release pipelines (CI/CD with GitHub Actions)
Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers in native and React Native development
Adapt and thrive in fast-paced, evolving enterprise environments
Work onsite at Malvern, PA, collaborating in hybrid teams (co-located and remote)
