Responsibilities

Sell and make recommendations on all Travel products offered by the Vendors represented by AAA Travel
Identify and develop sales opportunities by utilizing the Lead Management system, Membership system, and additional lead sources, increasing overall sales and the proportion of member households purchasing AAA Travel products
Respond to all quote requests in a timely manner according to agency service level agreements
Address any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise during the trip. Provide timely support on rebooking's and refunds
Provide recommendations to ensure the trip experience is tailored to the customer’s expectations
Maintain accurate digital records of bookings, payments, transactions, phone calls and meetings in company CRM system and vendor systems
Provide customer service as needed throughout the booking process through the client’s return home to ensure customer needs are met promptly
Develop and enhance relationships with customers to build referral and repeat business
Provide travel information and advise clients on all aspects of travel planning and reservations
Provide excellent customer service and support the AAA membership model, including selling membership
Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals
Incorporates AAA’s vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to AAA’s vision mission and values

Qualification

Required

High School degree or GED
2+ years in customer service or sales role

Preferred

Associates or Bachelors degree
Prior experience working in hospitality or travel industry
Experience in travel sales and systems software
Experience with sales lifecycles
Travel certifications in the form of a CTA or destination specialist certificate preferred
Proven ability to perform to goal with track record of meeting or exceeding goals preferred
