Manufacturing
Responsibilities
Inspect products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
Use measurement tools and basic math to accurately measure and evaluate product dimensions and specifications
Maintain a high-level of visual awareness to detect any defects or inconsistencies in products
Identify quality inconsistencies and promptly report them to the appropriate department for corrective action
Develop and maintain company inspection records, including documentation of processes and procedures
Record, analyze, and draft quality reports on test data
Ensure that all test equipment is properly calibrated and functioning correctly
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify possible areas for improvement in quality processes
Monitor production processes to ensure that quality testing procedures do not hinder production timelines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving productivity and quality goals
Capable of standing for long periods and perform repetitive tasks as required in a non-climate-controlled environment
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated high-level of visual awareness and attention to detail
Strong understanding of basic mathematical concepts is essential
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret technical information accurately
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient in MS Office, and Excel, particularly in drafting reports and collating data
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Outstanding attendance is a must in this role
Highschool Diploma/GED
Preferred
Some College
1-2 years of experience as an inspection or quality technician
Previous experience working with measurement tools is preferred
