Renewals Account Manager
FONpros is a trusted leader in alternative business financing, seeking a Renewals Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients. The role involves deepening client relationships, securing renewals, and identifying upsell opportunities in a performance-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Proactively engage clients ahead of renewal dates to discuss refinancing, renewal, and additional funding options
Identify, position, and close additional financing solutions that support client growth goals
Serve as the primary point of contact: provide updates, answer questions, and build trust
Guide clients through the renewal process from proposal to close
Track pipeline activity, tasks, and client interactions in Salesforce
Meet or exceed monthly renewal, retention, and upsell targets
Qualification
Required
Prior experience working in a renewals focused role in the alternative finance industry
2+ years in account management, renewals, or B2B inside sales
Proven success in high-volume, transactional sales environments
Strong relationship management, presentation, and negotiation skills
Tech-savvy with CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
Hunter mindset—comfortable prospecting within a large database
Self-starter with excellent communication and time management
Able to thrive in a fully remote, fast-paced setting
