Responsibilities
Lead and manage the software development team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines
Collaborate with product management, design, and other departments to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Develop and implement development processes and best practices to enhance productivity and quality
Monitor and manage project timelines, resources, and budgets
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the development lifecycle
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the development team
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate
Provide technical guidance and support to the development team as needed
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Software Development Manager or in a similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in software development
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., .NET, Typescript, GoLang) and development frameworks
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
