Responsibilities
Define integration patterns, standards, and decision frameworks across multiple integration styles
Design end-to-end integrations spanning ERP, SaaS platforms, and operational systems
Establish standards for interface contracts, security, error handling, and observability
Develop reusable integration assets and promote best practices
Build, test, deploy, and support integrations using iPaaS platforms
Create reusable workflows and connectors
Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations, including production support
Design source-to-target mappings and integration payloads
Ensure integrations deliver accurate, well-structured data to downstream systems
Document data flows for critical integrations and collaborate with data teams as needed
Work with business and technical teams to translate processes into integration solutions
Review designs, provide technical guidance, and influence scalable integration approaches
Apply security best practices and establish monitoring and performance standards
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in integration engineering or architecture
Strong hands-on experience with Workato and other iPaaS platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite, SnapLogic)
Expertise with REST, SOAP, event-based integrations, EDI, and file-based exchange
Experience integrating large enterprise platforms with cloud and SaaS applications
Solid understanding of data flow design and payload modeling
Preferred
Experience with EDI standards and B2B integrations
Familiarity with iPaaS governance and lifecycle management
Background in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or regulated environments
