Network/Telecom Systems Analyst 3-IT

Responsibilities
Maintain records of equipment failure and liaise with engineers and suppliers as necessary
Escalate client problems according to established procedures
Manage the network using network management tools, analyze network performance and recommend network enhancements
Analyze network performance to ensure adequate bandwidth for business needs
Recommend enhancements to the network infrastructure, and with management agreement enhance proactive network management tool set
Troubleshoot network problems on the campus network, remote locations and country wide area network though to resolution
Perform Project Engineering including specification definition, design of solution in compliance with corporate standards, implementation, testing through to production
Respond to monitor alarms to identify the root cause of an outage and coordinate the corrective action in a timely fashion
Provide on-call support services as needed and provide assistance to others
Qualification
Required
3 to 5+ years of experience in network/telecom systems analysis
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Experience in managing and delivering network infrastructure
Ability to maintain records of equipment failure and liaise with engineers and suppliers
Experience in managing the network using network management tools
Ability to analyze network performance and recommend enhancements
Experience in troubleshooting network problems on campus networks, remote locations, and country-wide area networks
Experience in project engineering including specification definition, design of solutions, implementation, and testing
Ability to respond to monitor alarms and coordinate corrective actions in a timely manner
Availability to provide on-call support services as needed

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
