Responsibilities
Manage and work assigned queues of delinquent accounts
Work 60-70 accounts daily, actively pursuing past due payments
Provide guidance, support, and answer questions for the collections team
Conduct weekly reports and contribute to departmental objectives
Evaluate collector phone calls, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve call culture and performance
Potentially serve as a backup repossession specialist, handling related paperwork and phone calls
Contribute to achieving team goals related to delinquency, charge-offs, and non-accrual metrics
Qualification
Required
Proven leadership experience, preferably in a collections or financial services environment
Strong understanding of various account types, with a willingness to learn specific products
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide effective coaching and feedback
Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Resilience and a professional demeanor when dealing with challenging account interactions
