Associate Partner - Retail and SME Banking

Responsibilities
Develop the North American Retail & SME business line by identifying opportunities, building and executing a strategic sales plan to meet revenue and growth targets
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels
Conduct market and trend analyses to identify strategic growth opportunities
Apply industry knowledge to proactively recommend innovative solutions that address evolving client needs
Produce solutions to complex problems demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the subject matter and an ability to think independently and communicate concisely
Lead and be hands-on with the proposal development process, including RFP responses, pitch presentations, and pricing strategies
Lead business development and marketing strategies in the region, collaborating with practice leads to align efforts with the firm’s capabilities
Mentor consultants and senior consultants to increase their industry-specific knowledge and practical experiences
Promote Synpulse Consulting’s values (Embrace, Drive, Achieve)
Leverage industry expertise to propose the extension of Synpulse’s Advisory offerings
Engage in key account expansion, sales leadership, and client engagement initiatives, understanding their unique challenges, and offering tailored solutions that drive value and impact
Represent Synpulse as a subject matter expert in the Banking industry, always staying on top of and ahead of industry trends and contributing to conferences, seminars and other events to promote Synpulse’ s capabilities
Qualification
Required
10+ years of Banking or Wealth Management experience at a management consulting firm or in a corporate strategy, enterprise architecture, business development, or management function within a Bank or Financial Services company
Strong network within financial services industry
Deep understanding of the retail and SME banking sector, including industry trends, competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, and emerging opportunities
Understanding of large program delivery and complexities, as hands on delivery experience is an important part of our sales strategy
Experience in managing multiple teams (including managing across multi-disciplinary teams) on complex projects while motivating team members to succeed
Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels internally and with client teams and stakeholders
Experience in sales and project acquisition (leading the proposal development process)
Entrepreneurial attitude with a desire to learn and create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes
Willingness and ability to travel, as required
