Collected Strategies is a professional services firm seeking a Business Development Associate. This role is crucial for growing the firm’s referral network and implementing effective marketing practices.

Public Relations

Responsibilities

Maintain and actively monitor referral network and relationship databases, enabling regular dialogue between the Collected team and key contacts, as well as development of new relationships

In collaboration with firm leaders, support the development and implementation of annual plans, with measurable objectives to ensure accountability and tracking

Research and continuously monitor key industry sources (M&A, Activism and Special Situations league tables, LinkedIn, advisor or industry news, etc.) to identify new opportunities and ensure referral network and relationship databases are regularly updated

Analyze data and prepare regular reports on business development efforts

Collaborate with colleagues to interpret results and refine efforts accordingly

Support various business development and marketing initiatives, including market research, presentations, thought leadership opportunities, award and league table submissions and firm-sponsored events

Required

Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience in a business development, client relations, and/or marketing professional role (ideally in a legal, finance or communications professional services firm)

Strong research, analytical, and project management skills with acute attention to detail

Strong familiarity with one or more CRM software platforms and with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
