Program Coordinator GPG
MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a Program Coordinator II to support the smooth operation of departmental activities in the Surgery Transplant department. This role provides essential administrative and secretarial support, ensuring alignment with the hospital’s policies and commitment to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support including calendar management, scheduling, mail/package handling, and document organization
Draft and edit internal and external communications with accuracy and timeliness
Manage the flow of procedural orders, images, and other important documents
Coordinate schedules for staff, providers, and leadership across multiple functions
Develop and maintain informational materials for trainees
Organize and manage special events and departmental projects, including budgeting, logistics, and catering
Maintain accurate data records and assist with various reports and system entries
Support the department with day-to-day operational tasks such as security, IT coordination, and equipment requisitions
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of medical/clinical office and/or administrative experience required
Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment
Preferred
Bachelor's or associate degree preferred
Previous experience with computerized scheduling systems and supervisory experience is preferred
