New Grad, Entry LevelDayton Children's Hospital is seeking a part-time ED Tech for their Emergency Department at the Main Campus. The role involves assisting nurses with patient care activities while ensuring communication, confidentiality, and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting the nurse in completion of patient care activities, taking into consideration the patient’s developmental levels
Demonstrates strong communication skills, accepts delegated tasks and has the knowledge and understanding to ask questions and report patient information as indicated
Appropriately handles patient information understanding confidentiality and privacy
Complies with the safety management program designed to provide a physical environment free of hazards and to reduce the risk of injury
Is knowledgeable about and responsive to the mission of the hospital
The PCA promotes a patient and family experience-oriented environment and acts as a change agent to meet the rapidly changing census and needs of all customers-both internal and external
Qualification
Required
GED (Required)
High School (Required)
CPR - BLS certificate is required within 2 weeks of hire
Demonstrates strong communication skills
