Responsibilities
Partner with Komatsu's subsidiaries and distributors (DBs) to ensure market success and achieve business objectives, including market share, revenue, margin, and profit
Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the regions of South Africa, Europe, and Japan
Coordinate with the commercial team to align sales strategies and objectives
Collaborate with Komatsu's engineering and product management teams to ensure product offerings meet customer needs and market demands
Work with the marketing team to create compelling messaging, content, and collateral to support sales efforts
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for sales growth
Provide regular reporting and updates on sales performance, customer commitments, and market conditions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel frequently. Estimated travel of 50%
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Willing to relocate if required
The ideal candidate would be willing to live in the Johannesburg area
