Responsibilities
Leading the end-to-end design and architecture of autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents, including multi-agent systems, to support complex business workflows
Making strategic and hands-on technical decisions across AI models, orchestration frameworks, vector databases, runtime platforms, observability tools, and policy/guardrail layers
Driving the full lifecycle of agentic AI solutions from proof of concepts (PoCs) through pilots, production rollout, and continuous optimization
Building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing ML/AI engineering teams, including agent and prompt engineers
Defining and enforcing governance frameworks for AI safety, security, privacy, and ethics, including human-in-the-loop controls and escalation mechanisms
Partnering with security, risk, legal, and compliance teams to embed organizational policies and regulatory requirements into AI agent behavior and data handling
Designing and implementing monitoring and observability for AI agents, including reliability, accuracy, latency, drift, hallucination patterns, business KPIs, and failure modes
7–10+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or ML/AI engineering, with multiple years owning AI or automation initiatives end-to-end
Strong hands-on experience with modern AI technologies, including LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool use, and autonomous agent frameworks
Proven experience delivering production-grade AI solutions integrated into real-world business systems
Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with product, operations, and executive stakeholders
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), MLOps practices, and event-driven or microservices architectures

Experience working in a Center of Excellence (CoE) or incubator environment, establishing standards and reusable AI assets

Strong knowledge of AI risk, safety, security, and data privacy, with practical experience implementing guardrails
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience delivering AI solutions in regulated industries (Healthcare preferred)
