Vivvi is reinventing child care and early learning for today’s families and is seeking a School Age Program Director. This role involves overseeing Spring and Summer camps, providing excellent care and enrichment for school-aged children, and leading all aspects of the program including operations, team leadership, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and oversee all aspects of a successful and high quality summer program for children ages 6-12

Foster and promote Vivvi’s inclusive environment throughout all aspects of the camp

Develop relationships and maintain ongoing communication with parents and families

Hire, train, and supervise a team of teachers

Create an environment that is safe, positive and inclusive

Ensure adherence to the highest level of health and safety standards

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in educationBSAC TrainingCPRFirst Aid certifiedProgressive education expertiseCreativeLeadership skillsAdaptable

Required

Possess a Bachelor's or graduate degree in education

Have BSAC Training: Basic School Age Care and EDU 119

Enjoy working with school-aged learners, and see every child as infinitely capable

Have 3-5 years experience in a similar role

Value and create strong relationships with families, children, and faculty

Possess excellent leadership skills including the ability to coach faculty and motivate staff towards success

Have deep expertise in a progressive approach to education

Are creative and adaptable

Are already or are willing to be CPR and First Aid certified

To be considered, applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to Liberty, N.C

Candidates must also possess independent US work authorization

Physical demands of this position include but are not limited to sitting and standing for extended periods, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, and frequently moving or lifting children weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
