Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze file-level and storage-level data protection policies and alerts
Generate audit-ready compliance reports and support risk mitigation efforts
Assist in implementing data protection policies across enterprise systems
Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with approved policies and procedures
Demonstrate proactive learning and application of data protection best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
3+ years with hands-on experience in data discovery, and protection frameworks
Hands-on experience with data discovery and protection tools
Strong understanding and working knowledge of data protection frameworks, regulatory compliance requirements, and their practical application
Experience working across organizations of varying sizes and complexities
Preferred
5+ years experienced analyst in data discovery and protection for both structured and unstructured data
Hands-on experience in data discovery, protection frameworks and incident response
Solid understanding of data protection principles and compliance requirements
Experience monitoring and analyzing file-level and storage-level protection policies and alerts
Skilled in generating audit-ready compliance reports and risk assessments
Familiarity with Varonis and Microsoft Purview for data protection and activity monitoring
Experience supporting both cloud and on-premises environments
Adaptable to different organizational sizes and workflows
Demonstrated systems thinking ability to understand interdependencies across data, processes, and technologies to provide holistic risk insights
