Responsibilities
Checks, enters and reviews invoices for payment to vendors
Reconciles vendor statements
Prints accounts payable reports and maintains accounts payable files
Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
Assists in monthly closings
Communicates with internal reps and accounting personnel as necessary to complete job duties
Assists with special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
2 years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment
equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have working knowledge of Accounting software
Must have working knowledge of Inventory software
Must have working knowledge of Spreadsheet software
Must have working knowledge of Word Processing software
Must have great customer service skills
Must have great organizational skills and possess a sense of urgency in getting the job done
Must have excellent numerical skills with a high degree of attention to detail
10 key calculator skills
Ability to oversee a varying workload by prioritizing a range of tasks and that meet deadlines, ensuring attention to detail
Must be skilled in solving problems with good workable solutions
Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Preferred
Experience with SAP software helpful, but not required
