The State of Michigan's Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) is seeking a Radio Technician to work in their radio/communication repair facility. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various integrated in-vehicle communication equipment and critical infrastructure equipment, as well as providing support for computer operating systems.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, program, and perform scheduled maintenance on Integrated in-vehicle equipment to include but not limited to two-way radios, wireless accessories, computers, modems, printers, docking stations, radars, in-car digital cameras, electronic sirens, scanner receivers, vehicle repeaters and other electronic equipment operated by the State of Michigan
Perform repairs and maintenance on critical infrastructure equipment including digital microwave radios, servers, routers, switches, hubs, and other LAN/WAN networking equipment
Provide support for critical system components such as servers

Required

Possession of an associate's degree in electronic technology
Three years of experience equivalent to a Radio/Communications Technician, including one year equivalent to a Radio/Communications Technician E10
