Cybersecurity Incident Specialist

Responsibilities
Support incident response activities from initial detection through resolution, working closely with the Cybersecurity Incident Manager and senior team members
Assist with technical analysis and investigations, helping gather data, review logs, and document findings during security incidents
Contribute to post-incident reviews and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) by supporting evidence collection and follow-up actions
Help track and maintain incident metrics and documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Participate in proactive security activities, such as identifying recurring issues, supporting remediation efforts, and improving processes and playbooks
Perform technical evaluations of third-party solutions, supporting the Information Security and Privacy teams with assessments and technical input
Work hands-on with security tools, platforms, and technologies, gaining exposure across infrastructure, networks, cloud, and applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure operations and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or similar field of study
At least 2 years of experience in a highly regulated industry
A foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, frameworks (such as ISO27001 or NIST), incident response, or IT operations
Strong curiosity and willingness to learn through hands-on experience
Analytical thinking and attention to detail — you like figuring out how things work and what went wrong
Basic technical skills across IT environments (e.g., networks, systems, cloud, or applications)
Experiance or interest in building automations and/or AI agents
Clear communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-based environment
Interest in security tools, emerging threats, and continuous improvement
