The New York Mets are looking for a creative and talented Associate Video Editor to support the Social Media team across different video production needs. This role will be responsible for editing short-form videos as well as assisting with on-site video shoots to capture compelling content for the Mets' social media channels.

Responsibilities

Edit short-form videos (including but not limited to content with players, celebrities, promotions, hype videos, culturally relevant trends)
When necessary, edit long-form video
Collaborate with the Social Media team to bring video concepts to life
Support video shoots with both cell phones and cameras
Contribute to the creation of engaging content that connects with fans across all social media platforms

Qualification

Short-form video editingAdobe Premiere ProVideo shootingShort-form platformsAdobe PhotoshopManage multiple projectsDetail orientedFast-paced environment

Required

1+ years of short-form video editing
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar video editing software)
Comfortable shooting video using both cell phones and cameras
Demonstrate understanding of short-form content platforms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels)
Detail oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required during the baseball season

Preferred

Experience using Adobe Photoshop
Experience in editing long-form videos for social media
Familiar with shooting video on a camera
Previous experience shooting/editing video for a sports team
