Responsibilities

Support Engineering Activities including: Design, Test, Check-out, Modification, Fabrication & Assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, RF/Microwave devices and specialized test equipment
Applications include Electronic Circuits, Microwave RF, and Logic Systems
Work from Schematics, Diagrams, Written and Verbal Descriptions, Layouts or Defined plans to perform testing, Check-out and troubleshooting functions
Perform Operation Test and Fault isolation on systems and equipment
Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions
Assist in design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment
Use manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators and specialized test apparatus

Required

Associate's degree in a related field and/or 2 - 3 years experience with a proven track record of excellence in electronics assembly and test
Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings
Experienced in soldering and cable assembly
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and remain highly organized
Comfortable working with cross functional teams
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast paced environment
Strong commitment to teamwork and process
Demonstrated proficiency in documentation generation, organization, and storage

Preferred

J-STD Certification (terminals and wires, through hole technology and surface mount technology)
Experience in High Precision timing, test, and measurement
Experience with Ultra High Vacuum systems
Demonstrated proficiency in space qualified construction and testing techniques
Demonstrated RF design capabilities
FPGA programming experience
