Responsibilities
Lead and support ammonia PSM and RMP programs for all Conagra facilities
Manage and facilitate the PSM Scorecard and report KPIs to senior leadership
Conduct and support Mechanical Integrity, PHA, and Compliance Audits to meet OSHA and EPA requirements
Collaborate with plant, corporate, and contract resources to ensure timely development and submission of PSM projects
Serve as an active member and facilitator of the Engineering and EHS PSM Steering Committee to capture cross-functional input on technical safety risk
Coordinate and prioritize in the capital planning process at both plant and corporate levels
Partner with platform and project engineering leadership to develop annual and three-year capital plans by recommending proven system improvements and solutions
Review Technical Briefs to provide guidance to project teams and ensure scope completeness
Work with the Engineering Project Manager to establish design schedules that align with overall project timelines
Support plant operations by identifying and optimizing refrigeration equipment and system performance
Stay current with industry regulations and codes related to equipment system design and operation for the food processing industry
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Agricultural Engineering, or related field
10+ years of manufacturing experience
5+ years of experience managing a plant PSM program
Knowledge of IIAR Standards and other industry RAGAGEP
Process Safety Management Professional (PSMP) Certification or willing to obtain
This position is located in Omaha NE, Chicago IL, select field locations or remote locations East of Denver, CO and within reasonable proximity (50 miles) to a major airport
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to other Conagra facilities
