Fogarty Finger is an award-winning, interdisciplinary design studio headquartered in New York City, seeking a talented and highly experienced Senior Architect to join their firm. This role involves taking a leadership position on multiple projects of various scales, managing and producing throughout all phases of the projects.

Responsibilities

Taking a leadership role on multiple projects of various scales
Management and production as required throughout all phases of any particular project
Coordinating and producing construction documents while maintaining and improving the accuracy of a BIM model
Communicating and coordinating effectively with consultants, clients, and contractors, especially including construction administration experience and the ability to coordinate with all trades and consultants in the field
Multi-tasking and managing various projects simultaneously
Working on short time frames and meeting deadlines

Required

AT LEAST 10+ years of relevant post-graduate experience
Professional architectural degree from an accredited institution
Experience in wide range of projects including high-end commercial, multifamily, hospitality
Strong Proficiency with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; proficiency in Sketchup, Enscape and Revit is a huge plus
Experience and comfort level in taking a leadership role on projects from initial concept through construction administration
Strong knowledge of architectural design details
Knowledge of applicable local codes
Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, and contractors especially including construction administration experience and the ability to coordinate with all trades and consultants in the field
Ability to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously
Ability to work on short time frames and meet deadlines
Strong design, communication, organizational and collaborative skills
Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and rigorous environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S

Preferred

Experience and ability to coordinate and produce construction documents while maintaining and improving the accuracy of a BIM model is a plus
