Senior Buyer Analyst

The role involves purchasing components, resolving invoice disputes, and managing supplier relationships to ensure efficient procurement processes.

Responsibilities
Purchase components based on requirements within MRP
Expedite, de-expedite, and cancel parts based on production requirements
Purchase components for Maintenance, Repair, and Operation (MRO) via hand requisitions or through the internet approval sites. (As needed)
Resolve any invoice disputes with the supplier
Resolve non-conforming parts by sending parts back to the supplier for evaluation, rework, or replacement
Gather information from suppliers to gain a better understanding of the assigned suppliers' supply constraints
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business management or applicable studies, with (3) years of experience
Or Associate's degree & 4+ years' experience in purchasing manufacturing parts
Or Equivalent Educational background with 5+ years' experience in purchasing manufacturing parts
Ability to follow instructions and processes to perform the functions of the job
Ability to function independently and produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness, and acceptability with minimal supervision and general direction
Ability to type 35wpm and 10-key data entry
Creativity to continuously improve processes
Fluent in both written and oral English; Spanish is a plus
Knowledge of ERP or MRP and their applications
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Strong interpersonal skills are required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
